Welcome to my site!  All furnishings are original creations by artist, Dan Benecke of St. Germain, Wisconsin.

Thirteen years ago, I took a pile of sticks and created my first chair.  Instantly I was hooked... a creation from something that, all my life, I had admired so much... nature transformed into an object I made. 

My work is a collaboration between the natural materials I work with and the creativity it inspires within me.  It is also a way for me to express my interest in the past and interpret it in a present sence.
